Food for Families food drive was a huge success!

The 39th Annual KLFY News 10 Food for Families Drive was a smashing success! Over 42,000 pounds of groceries were donated to help our neighbors experiencing hunger along with monetary contributions to help us purchase almost a month's worth of food to power FoodNet Food Bank! You DOUBLED the impact from last year! Thanks to every individual that helped to make this the best year yet.

A special shout out of thanks goes to schools, businesses, churches, families, and groups who participated in the 2000 lb Challenge by doing mini-drives in anticipation of the big day. An additional special thanks goes out to the 100+ volunteers who made the drive possible. One participant in the drive commented that“... the food drive was uh-mazing.
