Home for the Holidays Helps to Expand Our Impact

Home for the Holidays, celebrating its 10th year, is a non-profit organization and annual project of Acadiana Home Builders Association and KATC-TV 3 that invests in local organizations that focus on housing. The emergency shelter program at St. Michael’s Center for Veterans, a program of Catholic Services of Acadiana, would not be possible without the generosity of AHBA, KATC, Home for the Holidays, their staff, volunteers, and the community participating in Home for the Holidays year after year. 

During our 2014 Annual Meeting, the inaugural Msgr. Sigur Legacy Award was presented to Home for the Holidays because their efforts have allowed us to broaden our reach and expand the impact our services have on the community. They have shown leadership, initiative, collaboration, vision and commitment.
