Monsignor Sigur Center
The Msgr. Sigur Center offers resources for individuals and families in financial crisis. We serve both impoverished families and individuals, as well as people experiencing homelessness. Assistance may include, but is not limited to: utility assistance, bus fare, and prescription assistance; and fire, funeral or other disaster assistance.
Those who have experienced a short-term, unforeseen emergency, may be eligible to receive a one-time cash grant.
Criteria for Eligibility:
Emergency triggered by a concrete, non-chronic, discrete need that places the client in a circumstance where they may become unhoused
An eligible expense where the client has no other source of income available to cover the need
The situation that the grant resolved is likely to be stable going forward
