Giving Tuesday Match Announcement!

Recently $1,000,0000 of funding for Catholic Charities of Acadiana was vetoed from the State budget, which was designated for our homeless shelter operations; To continue this essential work, we are raising critical funds this Giving Tuesday to help continue our sheltering operations. Thanks to a generous matching gift from a group of anonymous donors and the Pinhook Foundation, your Giving Tuesday gift will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $125,000 to help Catholic Charities of Acadiana respond to those experiencing homelessness in Acadiana. 

The vast majority of our sheltering programs are fully sustained by community support.

Together we can ensure the future of our organizations ability to continue providing a safe haven of compassion and welcome for our neighbors in desperate need and uphold the dignity of all human life, especially the most vulnerable.

Giving Tuesday is Tuesday, December, 3rd, but early giving starts on November 18th, 2024.
