Catholic Charities of Acadiana’s 50 Things Jar Engages Community in 50th Anniversary Celebrations

Do you feel called to grow deeper in your faith, but don’t know where to start? Catholic Charities of Acadiana’s 50 Things Jar makes it easy! This jar is a fun and engaging way for you to celebrate Catholic Charity of Acadiana’s 50th Anniversary all year long! Inside the jar, you’ll find 50 slips of paper, each with a simple task to be completed. Each of these quick “challenges” can be done individually or with a group. In fact, our hope is that families will take the jar home, complete the tasks, and discuss them around the dinner table. Coworkers, teams, classes, and other small groups could also take the opportunity to grow in community with each other while engaging in Catholic Charities of Acadiana’s mission of caring for the sacred gift of all human life, especially the most vulnerable.

The purchase of each jar comes with two Catholic Charities of Acadiana t-shirts that were designed exclusively for those who take up this challenge. Check under the lid to place your order (first two are free, additional shirts available for purchase). Once you receive your shirts, we highly encourage you to wear them while completing your acts of service. We love to see faith in action!
