Habitat for Humanity

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a home improvement thrift store that has been helping raise money for Lafayette Habitat since 2007. Everything that is sold at the ReStore — new and gently used building materials, furniture and other home goods — is generously donated by local individuals and businesses. At CSA, we do not have the means to pick up or store larger donations, such as furniture and appliances. The ReStore has agreed to work with our Housing Coordinators to give our clients prices that work with their budgets.

Donations are accepted on location at 3123 1/2 Johnston Street
Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm

If you would like to have your items picked up, you can fill out a form
on their website by clicking here.

Goodwill of Acadiana

Goodwill Industries of Acadiana provides free shopping vouchers for our clients to access clothing and household items. This mutually beneficial partnership allows us to utilize our resources and limited storage space responsibly by storing the donations we need to operate our specific programs, which address housing, hygiene, and hunger issues. To maximize the impact of in-kind gifts, CSA directs generous donors with the donations we cannot utilize -- such as used clothing and accessories -- to a local Goodwill donation center, where they have the capacity to sort, store, and thoughtfully redistribute gifts for the good of our community.
