Each year, our community comes together to give thanks for the countless ways God's love is made visible through the work of Catholic Charities of Acadiana. Join us as we celebrate the Lord's faithfulness and honor those whose generosity and service embody the mission of Catholic Charities through a Mass and banquet.
Annual Mass
The community is invited to celebrate the good works the Lord has done through the hands and feet of our community at our Annual Mass celebrated by Bishop J. Douglas Deshotel on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 6:00pm at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.
Annual Banquet
Following the Mass, at 6:30pm, our Annual Banquet will take place. This year our featured speaker is Fr. Fred Kammer, founder of the Jesuit Social Research Institute and former CEO of Catholic Charities USA. This year’s honorees are:
