To find lodging along their cross country bike trip, the couple used the online resources to find accommodations. In Lafayette, they selected lodging with a host family who happened to be regular volunteers (scheduled the next day to serve!) at St. Joseph Diner.

Homeless to Housewarmed in full swing!

Catholic Charities of Acadiana’s Homeless to Housewarmed initiative kicked off on June 1st and has been moving full speed ahead ever since! We have successfully warmed the homes of four different clients with the help of volunteer groups from Lafayette, Breaux Bridge, Broussard, and Abbeville.
