Dine for the Diner

St. Joseph Diner, known for feeding the hungry in Acadiana since 1983, hosted its annual fundraising event on Thursday, May 7, 2015. The community was encouraged to eat out to end hunger at participating area restaurants. This is a unique opportunity for restaurants to fill up their tables and for our supporters in the community to help feed the hungry.  With just over half the restaurants reporting donations, we have already raised $7, 500! Special thanks to our annual sponsor Renaissance Market and Brasserie and the following participating restaurants:

St. Joseph Diner is one of 6 programs of Catholic Services of Acadiana that provide essential services to people experiencing homelessness in Acadiana. On average St. Joseph Diner shares over 100,000 meals with the hungry. More than just the free meal served at lunch everyday, the Diner engages patrons - learning their names and their needs to assist them on their journey to self-sufficiency. These services would be impossible without the support of the community and the generosity of the restaurants and businesses participating in this event.
